Wonderstruck Music Festival, previously named Laurelive Music Festival, is a fantastic way to kick off your summer festival season on June 6-7, 2020! A number of changes are being implemented for this year’s installment of the festival, including the recently announced lineup as well as the previously announced rebranding and relocation! WonderStruck In Cleveland is actually not going to be held within the city anymore. The festival will now be held at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio. The campus, located on 400 acres of beautiful land roughly twenty miles outside of Cleveland, is no stranger to hosting events. In years past the college has successfully held a jazz music festival as well as other campus events making for a smooth transition for event producers!
The production company behind Laurelive, Elevation Group, announced the rebranding and relocation from the Laurel School’s Butler Campus last November:
“We loved our four-year relationship with Laurel School, and we are forever grateful to the school for taking a chance on the festival,” says festival producer Steve Lindecke in a press release. “We will always look back on the Butler Campus with fond memories, particularly our working relationship with the Laurel high school students who joined our operations team each year. Continued growth is important to the sustainability of any large-scale event, and Lakeland Community College provides us with the space necessary to execute on our vision. Plus, as we learned this past August at WonderBus, our new Columbus music festival, onsite parking is a highly valuable asset. We are thrilled that Lakeland Community College and their administration are welcoming us and our style of music festival, one appropriate for all ages.”

The new location is a wise move for helping accommodate the festivals growing attendance with state of the art facilities on a campus with experience of hosting events. This year’s festival changes are accompanied by the announcement of the new 2020 lineup! The lineup features acts including Portugal. The Man, Walk The Moon, Of Monsters And Men, Third Eye Blind, Brittany Howard, Trombone Shorty, Quin XCII, Matt Maeson and many more! Up to 25 performances on multiple stages are expected over the two-day music festival weekend!
