The second phase of the puzzling Ubbi Dubbi festival at Panther Island in Fort Worth, Texas on April 27th and 28th dropped a week ago! We state baffling in light of the fact that the name went onto the scene in November of 2018 without much notice. The festival name abruptly sprung up on social media platforms with its festival debut appearance declaration and a standby notice for the lineup coming soon. Nobody truly comprehended what’s in store from two adorable and odd figurines, Ubbi and Dubbi, throwing down a festival down in Texas. Ubbi is the house and techno lover of the pair and Dubbi is the device and dubstep master. See their delightful EDM-adoring selves beneath.
Phase one took everybody by total shock two weeks after the new festival declaration. Ubbi and Dubbi came to put forth a genuine statement by announcing a portion of the scene’s best players, as Destructo, Galantis, Joyryde, Illenium and Zeds Dead, who are bringing along their record name, Deadbeats, to sponsor the main stage.
Phase two was reported last Thursday and it felt like when a DJ double drops two insane bangers that you were not anticipating. The phase two artists broadened the variety of talent all across the board. Between the dark house hints of Drezo and Habstrakt, the dubstep filth from Svdden Death and Peekaboo and the ‘music without genre borders’ hints of What So Not, Ubbi Dubbi attendants won’t end up exhausted for even a second come April 27th and 28th.
We encourage any participant to anticipate getting to the festival grounds when doorways open because the talent will obviously be flowing directly from the start. The large names may get your attention, however the entire line up is loaded up with gems through and through.
