Over the span of three days and nights, Ultra Music Festival brought in more than 150,000 festivalgoers
to Bayfront Park. Headlining Miami Music Week, Ultra stole the show with their most impressive
production to date. While the mainstage took the breath away from the majority of the crowd, the true
highlight of the festival was the RESISTANCE megastructure. Featuring Eric Prydz’s HOLO performance
and two Carl Cox closing sets, the RESISTANCE stage was overflowing to unprecedented levels.

In addition to the techno and house acts slated for RESISTANCE, one of the most talked about sets of the weekend came from Belgium Techno Queen, Charlotte de Witte. Taking her music to the masses, de Witte’s performance was monumental for both techno and women.

Other artists that received raving reviews from the mainstage included Martin Garrix, Hardwell, and
Alesso. Mixing old nostalgic tracks with brand new IDs, the three DJs induced the most energetic Miami
crowds of the weekend. From “Animals” to “Spaceman” to “Calling”, the pure emotional vibes of 2013
were brought back to Miami’s waterfront. Arguably the highlight of the festival was when Martin Garrix
brought Alesso out on Friday night, where the two premiered a new collaboration, “Look Inside Our
Hearts”.

Finally, there was no other way to close out the festival than Swedish House Mafia. Making their first
return to Ultra since 2018, the hype for the trio’s performance was at an all time high. Axwell, Steve
Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso turned Bayfront Park into a rave, as the three producers threw down
brand new unreleased club tunes. Captivating a fresh style that pays homage to their early days of
classic house music, Swedish House Mafia turned in a groovy and upbeat set for the ages. Bringing their old classics and introducing new club IDs, Swedish House Mafia re-established themselves as one of the premier acts in dance music.
