Operation: Regeneration Earth commence! If you haven’t heard already, Lucidity Festival just dropped their 2020 lineup today, and it’s an absolute beaut. It is, without a doubt, one of the most incredibly diverse lineups I’ve seen in quite some time, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. With it boasting an absolute massive bill with over 150 artists ranging across all electronic genres on five stages, the three day festival up in the mountains just outside Santa Barbara, Calif. is a definite MUST DO to kick off the 2020 summer festival season.
Awaken your senses at the Live Oak Campgrounds this coming summer with some insane acts. Groove through the weekend with The Polish Ambassador, The California Honeydrops and Russ Liquid. If you’re like me and a lover of bass, then you’re in good hands; there’s plenty of psychedelic bass music to go around. Joining the bill in one of his first headlining slots is Wakaan fan-favorite & heavy-hitter LSDREAM. Some of my personal favorites and must-see acts on the lineup also include an extremely talented up & comer in the bass music scene, Sumthin Sumthin, as well as Cofresi. And how could anyone forget KLL SMTH?
Aside from the music, Lucidity is sure to offer the most intimate global healing experience: one where you can indulge in all it has to offer, such as rejuvenation and bringing a community together to assist in healing the ecosystem. Regenerative Action Day will take place on Wednesday, April 8th before the festival. In partnership with Lucid University, participants will have the incredible opportunity to receive special training on regenerative frameworks and deepen their connection with Mother Earth with a Native Plant Walk through the Lucidity venue. A give-back service project at Live Oak will also be in place.
Explore the new festival map where you are taken on a journey through each of the Elemental Realms. Throughout the festival weekend, guests can create many incredible experiences and partake in many activities. Show off those hard-practiced hoop and poi skills at the Flow Zone, or head over to the Movement Lab for some interactive dance and yoga. Maybe you just want to take some time to relax and do some inner-healing at I Am Healing, or, if you plan on bringing your little one along, check out the Imaginarium for kids! No matter what the activity or workshop it is that interests you, you’ll be sure to find it.
Each of the past three years, the festival has presented an extremely detailed and soul-capturing theme representing global transformation and universal consciousness. With 2018’s “Rising Dawn” representing fire and 2019’s “Moon’s Eye View” being dedicated to water, I’m sure we’ll be in for an absolute treat for whatever Lucidity and Mother Nature have in store for this year’s theme, “Regeneration Earth.”
Gather ’round the drum circle as we celebrate nine years of environmental consciousness and healing with Lucidity Festival April 10-12th.
